Well we are going to bite the bullet and buy the Ford SVO (A-460) block. I will post pic's of the progress.

Today I got the first important part, OIL COOLER !!! This is the same one that is keeping Vern's oil cool. I had it specifically made for mounting under the rear seat. Color was unimpotant to me as it will never be seen. 1/2" npt in and out for the oil and water lines, and a drain for winter storage. Here's a couple pic's.....

It's either a oil cooler or a heat exchanger for moonshine production!

Nice!  I remember looking at those blocks,,,  You think u'll have it up and running before summer?  Also, how much machining do you have to do to the new one when u get it?

It'll be ready for summer. Machining, line hone, bore to size, and maybe deck it. Typical stuff. Cool thing is each cyl will be machined to each piston exactly !!!!

Seriously. No matter how much I love my wife, if the Dr. told me it would cost me the same amount to save her life as an SVO Block, I'd have to kiss her on the cheek and Marry someone else!
